Golden Globes Awards
This year’s Golden Globe nominees were announced (half of them) live on television this morning. The rest were announced in a live stream online, and the other half, the big half, was announced on the Today Show.
The 2011 Golden Globe sees the George Clooney-directed The Ides of March and Steven Spielberg’s War Horse, in the list, both of which made it in as Best Picture, Drama. Kristen Wiig is nomitated for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical in Bridesmaids, as well as Melissa McCarthy in Best Supporting Actress.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which got a nomination for Best Actress for Rooney Mara but was left out of the Best Drama category.Which is understandable considering that a previous swedish version was released.
