David O. Russell has fully committed with to The Silver Linings Playbook, he is now looking for a young actress for the lead role. And a list is already done.
According to THR the list includes popular and up-and-coming actresses in Hollywood, including Elizabeth Banks, Kirsten Dunst, Blake Lively, Rooney Mara, Rachel McAdams, Andrea Riseborough and Olivia Wilde.
Based on the novel by Matthew Quick, the film stars Mark Wahlberg as a former high school teacher who is released from a mental hospital and tries to reconnect with his ex-wife. He realizes however that is that the widowed sister-in-law of his best friend, Tiffany, is in love with him.
The list above is for the role if Tiffany, who is described as a “depressed woman who, when her husband dies, goes on a sexual spree, even at the cost of her job.”
