Well maybe not one of the most critically-acclaimed comedies of 2012, but it did do well at the box office. Made for only $42 million, the film was able to bank over $100 million at the US box office, and worldwide totaled over $200 million.
This usually means a greenlight for a sequel. While at the CinemaCon, Sony Pictures showed of their 2013 films as well as confirmed titles for 2014. And 21 Jump Street 2, was included.
Still no official release date or who among the cast would be coming back for part two, both Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill have been confirmed to return.
