Despite some of the information circulating around Chan-wook Park’s Stoker, it still remains vaguely mysterious. And creepy.
The poster (if you missed it, it’s below) shows an indeed creepy Mia Wasikowska playing India Stoker, a young woman broken up over the surprising death of her father. And so does Matthew Goode’s Uncle Charlie, the mysterious uncle, came out of no where right after the death of Stoker’s father.
But Kidman, was probably the most difficult character to make out. Was. Because now thanks to the clip, we get to know more about Kidman’s character, playing the mother of India.
Based on a script written by Wentworth Miller, Stoker tells the story of a young girl named India (Wasikowska) who is suffering after the death of her father (Dermot Mulroney). Suddenly and out of no where, Uncle Charlie (Goode), a relative she has never met before, comes to town and stays with India and her unstable mother (Kidman).
Searchlight already set to distribute, the film will be making its way into theaters on March 1st.
