Champagne, red carpet, laughter, fun. Yes the Golden Globes are over but apart for the annual winners, this year the Golden Globe left us with an unsual speech; Jodi Foster’s six-and-a-half-minute oration in which she spoke about her sexuality, her privacy, her career and her family.

For a moment we were taken away from the whole winner and awards, because, as much as her speech was moving and touching there were two unanwered questions; Had Foster come out as gay? And had she announced her retirement?
