John Cusack And Stephen King Teaming Up For Cell Adaptation

After 1408 that saw John Cusack and Stephen King first collaboration, and the succcess it brought, we could also wish that two big talents would reunite again and bring to big screen a good horror movie.

Our wish came true, Cusack has officially boarded Genre Company’s adaptation of King’s bestselling novel Cell.

Screenplay for the psychological horror thriller was written by King himself in collaboration with Adam Alleca. The story follows a father who is desperately searching for his family after an unexpected pulse broadcast over the global cell phone network upends the entire world.

According to Screen Daily, financing has already been arranged by Cargo Entertainment, meaning the thing is real!
