Rumor has it that CW is working on developing a new Wonder Woman TV series similar to the Smallville series. Since there has been no other news on the most important aspect; who will play Amazon heroine?

Popcorn and Soda listed five actresses who could fit the role. Check it out!

1. Kat Dennings

Dennings has proven she can be a good sidekick character, though her roles in Thor and 2 Broke Girls weren’t really suited for her. But this proves she is ready and could easily take a leading role. Naturally dark-haired and blue-eyed, there would be no need of a look makeover!

2. Christina Hendricks

After her photoshoot in New York Magazine, Mad Men actress proved she knows how to perfectly wear a corset. Which is one of the things a Wonder Woman needs. She would probably need to dye her hair or wear a wig, but other than that, there is no reason why she shouldn’t be Wonde Woman.

3. Jessica Biel

She may not represent Wonder Woman in terms of looks, but she was one of the few who went really close to sign the role back in 2007. But even though she turned it down, she is seems still interested to play the character: “If Wonder Woman had the right script and it was really powerful and emotional and interesting, I would be into that kind of thing.”

4. Megan Fox

If you just google her name and Wonder Woman you will already see her dressed as Wonder Woman. But despite the many photoshoped images and internet polls, she doesn’t seem tempted, as has more than once declared she’s not interested. But we can still hope.

5. Rooney Mara

Best know for her role as Lisbeth Salander the expert hacker and ferocious kickboxer of the Millenium trilogy, Mara might be a little to skinny for the role. But she had proved she got talent and on top of that can transform into any character as seen in David Fincher’s adaption of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
