There are movies that are not remade, adapted but based on a true story. Like The Imposter film that tells the story of young Nicholas Barclay, a 13-year-old Texan who went missing on June 13th, 1994, vanishing without a trace.
The boy went missing for three years. The boy’s family was devastated, but kept hope alive that Nicholas would return to them. Then in 1997 they receive a call that would change their life.
As the trailer and the title suggest, there is something fishing going on. Despite his eyes weren’t the same color as the boy they knew, and he didn’t know English very well but spoke with a pronounced French accent, they take the boy home.
