In case you forgot, Iron Man 3 now in production in Wilmington, North Carolina. Usually, when films are in production, we get a chance to hear leak sneak peaks, way before the film’s release date and the marketing team start working.
In Iron Man 3 case, the release date is set for May 3. Why wait so long, almost one year, when thanks to the folks at Latino Review, who just dropped a few tidbits of information in a new post regarding movie’s villain?
If you read the post, you’ll realize is in contradiction to what Marvel has been saying for months. For instance Latino Review are bringing up again Ben Kingsley and his role as The Mandarin, one of the most famous villains in the Iron Man universe. It was denied by Marvel. Though Latino Review firmly believe Kingsley is indeed playing The Mandarin, but Marvel is going to continue denying it.
Here is what people at Latino Review said about it:
Here’s what we can CONFIRM as true (and not from some guy working security on an off-lot shoot): The Mandarin (as played by Ben Kingsley) is a villain in the ‘Iron Man 3,’ but he’s more a veiled threat as a silent partner to Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian. Killian is the man inventing Extremis and putting it into his “Extremis army” of multiple super-powered individuals.
I want to believe them, head over to Latino Review and read the post to know more.
