2013 will be the sci-fi movie year, with the Star Trek’s 3D sequel set to hit the big screen, as well as Roland Emmerich’s Singularity, and Enders Game.
Emmerich’s Singularity has been pushed off to November 1, 2013, from its original release date, May 17, 2013. Making Paramount, according to Deadline, snatch the date for the Star Trek sequel.
That’s not it, from the film’s director and producer J.J. Abrams there is a possibility that Benicio Del Toro plays the villain in the film. From the sound of it, it’s little more than a possibility at this point.
“It’s not even negotiations — just in discussion,” said Abrams. “But I would love to work with him. I’ve wanted to work with him for years, and this felt like a good opportunity.”
