Tree Of Life has just taken home the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The trailer was a masterpiece and so did Terrence Malic’s movie.
Robert DeNiro, announced the winner in French among the winners also included Best Actress win for Kirsten Dunst in Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia.
Tree Of Life tells the story of a family with three boys in the 1950s, where the eldest son witnesses the loss of innocence. With a stellar cast including Brad Pitt, Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain, the movie is definitely one to see.
