According to Indie Wire, Armie Hammer has been hired to portray Prince Andrew Alcott in Snow White.
Hammer starred in The Social Network and despite the fact he didn’t get the deserved attention Hammer proved he’s a capable actor. In fact, he got a role in Clint Eastwood’s new J. Edgar Hoover biopic and now will star next to one of the most loved American actresses Julia Roberts.
Snow White and the Huntsman, just lost Viggo Mortensen in a lead role. And on the other hand Relativity is putting significant resources into its untitled “Snow White” project. Tarsem Singh is directing and Julia Roberts plays the evil queen.
There is still the lead role empty though, and Saoirse Ronan is being considered for the role. Losing the lead male character is a blow for Universal’s film, which is scheduled to start shooting this fall for a Dec. 21, 2012 release.
We will see who will fill in the missing roles faster.
