Passion Play, starring Mickey Rourke, Megan Fox and Bill Murray received mixed reviews; the majority were criticizing the movie and saying it was really bad.
Maybe it is because a group of ninjas pop up at the beginning without explaining why and that there is “fairly graphic sex,” between Rourke and Fox. The movie didn’t go well at Toronto Film Festival last year. Entertainment Weekly has learned that it will actually make its way to theaters.
Previous reports that the movie would go straight on DVD and that the film will be given a limited release in New York and Los Angeles, are wrong. The movie will hit theaters on May 6, the DVD release date is May 31, which means, the movie won’t stay long in theaters.
Along with the article, the first one-sheet for the film was also released, and it is nothing spectacular.
