With the incredible popularity of Mad Men and her ability to look extremly beautiful in 1960s garb, Christina Hendricks is getting her fair share of film parts. She will be starring in Tony Kaye’s Detatchment and Nicholas Winding Refn’s Drive later this year and recently signed on to I Don’t Know How She Does It, filling greatly her schedule and even has place for another one.
Deadline is reporting that the actress has signed on for Seconds of Pleasure set to be directed by Mike Figgis and based on a script by Neil LaBute.
The film is made up of a series of vignettes connecting the lives of passengers on a plane. Hendricks will play the wife of a character played by Brendan Fraser who catches him “in a compromising position.” The rest of the cast is rounded out by Julia Stiles, Matt Dillon and Kristen Scott Thomas.
I’m really happy for Hendricks; she got talent.
