We have seen some fantastic casting choice in Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Killer; casting Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy and John Kassir.
But the biggest part, hadn’t been casted yet, until now. the decision was down to two up-and-coming actresses: Adelaide Kane and Eleanor Tomlinson. And today one got the role. It’s Eleanor Tomlinson.
Deadline is reporting that Eleanor Tomlinson has been cast as the lead female in Jack The Giant Killer. In the story she will play Isabella, a princess who runs away from home and is kidnapped by a group of giants. A posse, led by Jack (Hoult), is then led into the giant’s land in order to get her back.
Tomlinson started acting at the age of 12, and has previously worked on The Illusionist, Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging and, most recently, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.
The film is scheduled to go intro production later this month in London.
