Oscar Winners: Complete 2011 Academy Award Results

The Oscars

The 2011 Oscars have been handed out to the winners; The King’s Speech won over the 10 other contenders including True Grit.

I have to say it was expected, and the movie totally deserved it. Same goes for Colin Firth as Best Actor. Natalie Portman went home with the Best Actress Award. She sure did an amazing performance. The best Supporting Actor and Actress went to Christian Bale and Melissa Leo for The Fighter, another movie that showed the best of the two.
Best Adapted Screenplay went to The Social Network. Kind of disappointed as I really hoped 127 Hours would win this. Compared to The Social Network, 127 Hour is much more emotional and captivating.
