Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Killer is moving forward in terms of building its cast. First it was announced that Stanley Tucci would be playing the villain and John Kassir and Bill Nighy would be doing the voice to the two-headed leader of the giants.
Nicholas Hoult, who will be playing Beast in this summer’s X-Men: First Class, would be playing the title role. But the biggest role that remains is the princess that Jack must rescue. But still no news on that matter. A news though regard the cast is that Ewan McGregor has joined the cast.
THR reports that the actor widely know for his role as Obi-Wan in the Star Wars prequels, has signed on to play the leader of the king’s guard who ventures with Jack to kill giants and rescue the kidnapped princess.
The search for the princess still continues, though there are already two possible names; Adelaide Kane (Power Rangers RPM), and Eleanor Tomlinson (Alice in Wonderland).
The film is set to go into production this March in London.
