Michelle Pfeiffer might reteam with Tim Burton for Dark Shadows.
Going through the cast list, we can prominently spot some high profile actors for his adaptation of the 60s TV show Dark Shadows.
Johnny Depp is almost a constant; when we hear Burton, we hear Depp and the union gives splendid results.
But it seems Depp is not the only one that will rejoin Burton; Michelle Pfeiffer is in negotiations to play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the matriarch of the vampiric Collins family.
Depp would be playing Barnabas Collins, the main character a vampire who’s on a constant search for his long-lost love. Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heatcote are also on board for roles, and Burton wife Helena Bonham Carter is expected to take the part of Hoffman, a psychologist who moves into the Collins estate and tries to help cure Barnabas of his vampire tendencies. The trio Bonham, Depp and Burton is set.
Dark Shadows is set to start filming in April. Pfeiffer considering reteaming with Burton in the film, and for the first time since 1992, is great news. Burton is putting his best players; Depp, his wife and catwoman!
