Vampires Suck Vs Twilight

Just finished watching Vampire Sucks. Well, I have to say I expected it to be different; some jokes weren’t really funny and some scenes were somehow predictable. Still, there is something I noticed. The actors.

The actors are relatively unknown. Jenn Proske that plays Becca, the movie’s version of Bella, hasn’t done anything before Vampires Suck and Matt Lanter, the Edward Sullen, I believe is famous mainly because of 90210. But that’s not the point.

Seeing the actors, I realized they are could have actually starred in the original movie. Proske would have been a better Bella than Kristen Stewart; Proske is cuter, and resembles more the book version of Bella. Bella should be an average teenage girl, not beautiful (well we can’t say Stewart is) but she has to be normal. A normal girl. And Stewart, wasn’t kind of normal; maybe because we have seen her in other movies and we kind of think of her as a celebrity. Proske would have been perfect for the role.

Lanter is the same; despite having lots of make up and being the stupid and funny version of Edward, he was hot and if he were more serious, he would have been the right Edward Cullen. Come on, Robert Pattinson? Seriously?

Not to mention Chris Riggi AKA Jacob White. He IS hotter than Taylor Lautner, not to mention that Lautner looks even smaller than he actually is. Plus, Riggi also has some decent six packs!

To make my point visually as well, here are the characters compared. I tried to choose images from Vampires Sucks that wouldn’t make you laugh, and if you have seen the movie, try and image them playing the real Twilight.
